Temptation

Temptation, that’s a tough one to resist. Many years, finally got around to getting clean cut version of the song, so it was finally time to sample the opening chords. Hence temptation. Fair use, I think I’m limited to less than 15 seconds, and really, after editing, it runs less than ten. Still, who can resist? Coming on Monday or so, depending on the wavelengths to get a video and podcast assembled.

I found the online version – in reality – a pretty interesting entry. Up and away, off to lovely El Paso for a weekend – of work.

But it’s no country for old men.

Faithful adaption. It will never sell. But it was a really fine book.

Recipe Time:
Most, if not all astrologers, have used cookbooks. Many have written them. The term applies to a certain astrology text wherein the data is arranged, well, for like of better word, like a cookbook. Boring presentation – which is why I haven’t done one – but I do play with some recipes. This one is a works in progress state, I just couldn’t justify paying money for a blackening spice when I can whip one up myself.

3 tablespoons of cayenne
2 tablespoons of chili powder
1 tablespoon of “fake salt” (potassium chloride)
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
1 tablespoon of onion powder
1 tablespoon of ground white pepper

It’s missing something just yet, and I’ve got to hone the mix, but it’s looking good so far. Tastes great, if a little bland.

Go Spurs:
I’ve always liked Mark Cuban’s style. I know next to nothing about basketball business, but I do enjoy his literate rants and raves. Like all of us, he’s occasionally right on the money.

“Suspicion always haunts a guilty mind:
The thief doth fear each bush an officer.”
