Road Food:
Valentino’s Pizza on the square in San Marcos. Perhaps — to this day — some of the finest pizza anywhere, and now? They are open weekend nights, serving pizza out a window, late into the night.
Still, the best item on the menu? Whole wheat pizza crust. Ranch dressing, tomato and bacon. Still the best.
Proof? The next morning? Cold, in the ice box? Still good. Like, really good. It’s a Sagittarius thing.
Padding:
Ever find yourself up creek, a certain creek? With no paddle? Good news! There’s now a portable paddle available. Never get caught without that paddle in that creek again.
